Course Introduction
The brachial plexus is a complex neural network formed by lower cervical and upper thoracic nerve roots which supplies motor and sensory innervation to the upper limb and pectoral girdle. It is therefore paramount for anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons and upper extremity surgeons to understand anatomy, clinical relevance, and reconstruction possibilities. Therefore, we designed a course on fresh frozen cadavers to train ultrasound, blocks and surgical dissections and lectures about the up to date advances in brachial plexus.
